It
was in the month of December 1968 that the first roast beef sandwich
was sold from 628 Warren Avenue in East Providence, Rhode Island,
now known as Miller’s Roast Beef. It is a second generation
family owned and operated restaurant.
Some things have remained the same since its beginning. Things such
as the wagon wheel light fixtures, the bar stools along the front
windows and the paneled walls.
Things like the way we prepare our delicious roast beef sandwiches,
too. We continue to thinly slice lean roast beef and serve it on
a toasted buttered roll. It’s the way we’ve been doing
things for 38 years and it’s the way it will continue. A bit
of the past continuing to the present.
Family and friends are woven into the fabric of Miller’s Roast
Beef. Along with the owners there are and have been many staff members
working side by side with their family members. Another bit of the
past continuing to the present.
If you have been a customer of Miller’s please accept a heartfelt
Thank You! It has been our privilege to serve you. A concept from
the past continuing to the present.
If you’ve never been stop by and see for yourself a part of
our past continuing to the present.
